George Groves’ world title challenge against Carl Froch will take place at the Manchester Arena on 23 November.Nottingham’s IBF super-middleweight champion Froch, 36, has long been mooted as a possible opponent for the unbeaten Groves, 25, who is currently Commonwealth champion and has also held the British title.Groves, from Hammersmith, was initially expected to take on WBO title holder Robert Stieglitz ahead of a possible showdown with Froch next year. But he was installed as the IBF’s mandatory challenger and Eddie Hearn, who promotes both men, subsequently revealed that talks were taking place with a view to the pair meeting sooner rather than later. And last month Hearn confirmed that the fight would be taking place before the end of the year.Froch is also billed as the WBA champion, a title he effectively shares with American star Andre Ward, who beat him in 2011 and has the official title of the organisation’s ‘super’ champion. That defeat is one of only two suffered by Froch in his 33-fight career, during which he has been world champion three times. The step up to world level will come in Groves’ 20th professional fight and the Londoner insists he is ready for the challenge.Groves said: “If you look at good world champions – current, present and previous – they usually step up around the 20-fight mark and at around the age of 25.“We know what we have to do. I’ve been written off and been the underdog before and I relish it.“It’s the perfect fight for me. There will be a massive British audience and it’s against an established British world champion.”Hearn said: “I’m delighted to bring this event to Manchester on 23 November.“This ‘Battle of Britain’ is a fascinating fight between a true legend of British boxing in Carl Froch and a superb young talent in George Groves.“It’s going to be some atmosphere, some occasion. Phone lines, Twitter and e-mails haven’t stopped for tickets since we confirmed the fight.“We are expecting another instant sell-out when we go on sale on 17 September.”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 Follow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebook
1 February 2007Construction of a multi-million rand salt plant at the Coega Industrial Development Zone (IDZ) outside Port Elizabeth is scheduled to start in February. The R54-million project is part of an R85-million relocation and expansion into the Coega IDZ announced by salt maker Cerebos in 2006.The expansion into the new plant will see Cerebos using technology never used before in sub-Saharan Africa to produce high purity salt through an environmentally friendly process.Cerebos MD Len Chandler said at least 100 jobs would be created during the construction phase, and 140 jobs when operations begin. The new plant will be a purpose-built pure vacuum-dried (PVD) salt crystallization facility.“Local demand for PVD salt exceeded our supply so we had to turn some customers down, but all that will be history when plant becomes operational in September 2007,” Chandler said.Coega Development Corporation (CDC) spokesperson Vuyelwa Qinga-Vika said the project would help position South Africa as a platform for manufacturing and export through foreign and local investment.Source: BuaNews
Team MTN-Qhubeka, which prides itself on developing and supporting African athletes, supports Qhubeka, a non-profit organisation, which uplifts rural communities by enabling children to get to school in time and return home with enough time to study and do their homework through the provision of Buffalo bicycles, which are purpose-built for African conditions. SAinfo reporter 3 April 2014 Africa’s first Pro-Continental cycling team, Team MTN-Qhubeka, is going from strength to strength following a successful international debut season, and has now been invited to participate in the Vuelta a Espana. The Vuelta, Spain’s most prestigious race, is one of the three Grand Tours, the others being the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia. Team MTN-Qhubeka will join 21 other teams at the Vuelta, which takes place from Saturday, 23 August to Sunday, 14 September, and will cover a total distance of 3 181 kilometres over 21 stages.‘Our dream and ambition’ After receiving the news of the team’s inclusion, Team Principal Douglas Ryder said in a statement: “It was always our dream and ambition to take an African registered team to the highest level in world cycling, be that the biggest one day races, the Monuments, and the Grand Tours. To be accepted into the Vuelta is the beginning of the realisation of that dream. “Our dream goes way beyond riding and performing well in these races, which is the enabler to bring thousands of people in communities in South Africa onto Qhubeka Buffalo bicycles to further their lives. “MTN has supported this dream to move Africa forward and with millions of eyeballs focused on the team in the Vuelta this dream will start to become a reality.’Focus Detailing the team’s approach, Ryder added: “The team will focus on stage wins as well as the points’ jersey with Gerald Ciolek, who is a strong rider who can climb and sprint, and the stages might suit his style of riding, so this will be a focus. “Sergio Pardilla and Linus Gerdemann will aim for a top GC [general classification] result and they will be ably supported by our African riders, who will animate the race in the 13 mountain stages. “For the Vuelta the goal is to have at least 50 percent of our start list representing riders from the African continent. Riders from the African continent make up 70 percent of our team’s total roster. This is a significant contribution we are making in developing talent and providing world class infrastructure for African riders to compete in the World Tour,” Ryder concluded.‘Big goal’ The experienced German rider Linus Gerdemann commented: “As a team we were hoping for the Giro d’Italia, but now the Vuelta becomes my big goal and the team’s big goal for the season. “To be a part of the first African team to ride a Grand Tour in cycling is an honour. The African riders are incredibly talented and great climbers, so the Vuelta will suit their riding style and I know by then they will be super-motivated to be a part of the team and make cycling history.”‘Great pride and jubilation’ MTN South Africa Chief Marketing Officer Brian Gouldie heaped praise on the team: “As proud sponsors of Team MTN Qhubeka, it is with great pride and jubilation that we see the team secure a berth at the Vuelta a Espana. “To witness the first African cycling team accepted to participate in such a big, international cycling event is testament to the capability of the team and the talent among the riders. Hard work has paid off in only the second year of this exciting team cycling on the international arena. “We wish everyone at Team MTN Qhubeka well for the Vuelta and we will continue showcasing our support and commitment towards the team and the development of cycling as a whole in Africa.”Fan favourite The Vuelta a Espana announcement comes after both the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France controversially declined to offer a place to MTN-Qhubeka in favour of local European teams. The team has grown massively in popularity since making its debut as a professional Continental team in 2013 and the Vuelta will be an opportunity for the team to garner more fans and showcase their ability to compete with the world’s best.

If your after a blonde bob look no further, highly recommended. Customer service i give 5 stars. Lovely wig very real looking and texture. Great customer service but sadly does not suit me. Highly recommend this make and company. Wife likes it value for money. Bought for a theme night but looks real so would wear any time. Excellent looks good and real,. Looks great not can tell it a wig. Brilliant wig and very easy to brush and maintain. Fast delivery and perfect item for fancy dress night out. Great present for my wife for every day use or fun. Had a nightmare dye job that i need to cover up for few weeks until it can be fixed, and been thinking of trying a wig over my fine hair for a while now too. This is exactly my hair style first of all, which is why this leapt out at me. Secondly its as close to my regular colour (disasters aside) which again was a secondary consideration. This arrived day after ordering it, i put it on and everyone loves it, but the best thing is any number of people, including those on my facebook page, didn’t realise it was a wig. I didn’t want to spend a fortune just to try a wig, or use one for a temporary period, this is great value for money. As i’ve got a “big ‘ed” (as they say) i was worried it wouldn’t fit, its actually loose on me so it will fit almost everyone i should think, there are clips inside but that pulls it quite tight, but as its a lace cap it can be secured with kirby grips too. I think i could fall in love with wigs over my own hair any day if this is one to go by. It’s the best wig i have ever bought, and i have bought a few, in brisk wind and movements it stays still, brilliant thank you so much x. Kalyss wig ordered sunday arrived next day before lunch. The wig itself looks very natural. Overall i think the price of the wig is extremely good value for a quality product. First class service from kalyss. Don’t think i’ll go blonde though. Wore it at a murder mystery, managed to keep it on all evening. Don’t think i’ll go blonde though, not quite my colour. My hairdresser thought it was brilliant for checking out what you’d look like with a different style/colour. Wonderful wig with significant top quality. The wig is really good, it arrived so quickly with a wig cap,it feels just like the actual human hair , and it is definitely wearable for day-to-day. When i obtained the wig, i drop in adore with it ,it is vital for the day-to-day use, thank you so a great deal. This is a magnificent wig, quite effectively built. I gave it to my niece who has prolonged hair and this wig seemed superb on her.

There are a lot of new features and improvements for video editors and creative professionals, but where do you start? Some folks are taking a “wait and see approach” to the new Adobe Creative Cloud, but if you are ready to jump in these resources will save you time and frustration.
