Robert Plant Shares New Single “Bluebirds Over The Mountain,” Announces Tour

As the iconic Led Zeppelin singer gears up for the release of his eleventh LP, Carry Fire, Plant has announced the first North American headline dates on his upcoming world tour celebrating the album–due out October 13. Following the release of “Bone Of Saints” and “The May Queen,” Robert Plant has released “Bluebirds Over The Mountain.” Written by rockabilly legend Ersel Hickey and later recorded by both Richie Valens and The Beach Boys, “Bluebirds Over The Mountain” features special guest Chrissie Hynde joining Plant on vocals. The track is accompanied by a striking companion visual, which you can enjoy below:On Carry Fire, Plant once again teams with his Sensational Space Shifters, a group composed of Justin Adams, John Baggott, Dave Smith and Liam “Skin” Tyson, though other numbers on the record include cameos from cellist Redi Hasa, violist/violinist Seth Lakeman, and vocalist Chrissie Hynde.
