first_imgLAS VEGAS >> The Clippers finished NBA Summer League play with a two-game losing streak, falling 109-100 to the Golden State Warriors in a consolation game on Friday afternoon at Thomas & Mack Center.Second-year forward Brice Johnson and rookie guard Sindarius Thornwell led the Clippers to a 3-0 start before tournament play began, but they lost to Miami on Thursday and then the Warriors (2-4).Johnson had 17 points and five rebounds in 19 minutes on Friday, but Thornwell didn’t play against the Warriors. Jaron Johnson (18 points) and Jawun Evans (17 points, six assists) also contributed, while former UC Irvine standout Luke Nelson added 10 points in 24 minutes, going 4 for 8 from the field with two rebounds and one assist.Former Oregon guard Dylan Ennis led the Warriors, going 8 for 11 from 3-point range on his way to 35 points. After scoring just 21 points in his first five Summer League games, the undrafted Ennis erupted for 20 points (six 3-pointers) in the second quarter alone on Friday.
