first_imgDONEGAL County Council says it will investigate the floods which took place in Inishowen during the weekend downpours.There was one very close call for four famillies in the Burnfoot area when water and raw sewage mixed with water flooding from the Burnfoot river at the back of their homes during Saturday night’s heavy rainfall.After the water subsided the residents were faced with the horror of raw sewage spread all over their gardens and inside their sheds causing damage to the oil boilers, children’s toys,and other items.
